Our services
What is the difference between dry cleaning and laundry?

Laundry is billed by weight ($2.95/lb) and is for everyday clothing — t-shirts, jeans, towels, sheets. The result is folded. Dry cleaning is billed per unit, treats delicate parts with specialized protocols, and clothes come back pressed on a hanger. In case of doubt, we will refer you to the warehouse.

Do you clean items other than clothing?

Yes — coats, rugs, curtains, comforters, comforters, sheets, tablecloths and pillowcases. For carpets, the delay is 8 to 10 days — they are cleaned in the workshop with specialized machines.

How do you make sure my clothes come back intact?

Each piece is inspected upon receipt, during processing, and prior to delivery. Delicate fabrics are cleaned in mesh bags, buttons are protected, sensitive materials are treated at low temperatures. Label instructions are followed to the letter. Our return rate is less than 1% — we are proud of it.

Some stains don't go away. Is that normal?

Unfortunately yes, in some cases. Stains that are very old or caused by chemicals can withstand even the best treatments. If this is the case, we'll let you know before delivering and explain what we tried. You are never charged for unsatisfactory work without informing you.

Do you offer alteration and repair services?

Yes — hems, zippers, buttons, rips, adjustments, weaves All counters accept touch-ups. Seamstresses are on site in Plateau and Villeray from Monday to Friday for complex work.

What are the pickup and delivery costs?

Free on orders over $120. Below this amount: $9.95 for the regular zone (center of the island) and $19.95 for remote areas (North Shore and South Shore). You can check your area with the postal code checker on the Pickup & Delivery page.

What are your processing times?

Standard service is 3 to 4 days from pickup. The express service guarantees a return in 24 to 48 hours with a surcharge of +20%. For carpets, count 8 to 10 days.

Do I have to be present during the pickup?

For the first collection, it is preferable. Afterwards, we can agree on a designated location — entryway, concierge, or other. Our delivery person sends you an SMS 30 minutes before arrival with a real-time tracking link.

Can I change or cancel an order?

Yes — free of charge up to 1 hour before pickupfrom the “My Orders” section of your account. After this time, service fees may apply.

When do I get billed?

Invoicing is done upon delivery, once your clothes have been cleaned. If the final amount differs from the estimate, you will be notified before being invoiced. No surprise.

What happens if I am not there for delivery?

Our delivery person contacts you to agree on a safe location or to schedule a new delivery. An additional fee of $9.95 applies in this case.

How do Jacob subscriptions work?

You pay a fixed monthly amount (Flex $39, Plus $99, Max $189) which gives you access to bonus credits that can be used on all services. The higher your package, the greater the savings — up to 27% on your orders. The Plus and Max plans also include free pickups per month.

What clothes fit in the bag and which in the bag?

In the Bag : everything you want washed and folded — T-shirts, jeans, joggers, underwear, towels, sheets. Billed by weight.

In the Cover : everything you want cleaned and on a hanger — shirts, jackets, dresses, dress pants, coats. Billed individually.

Are my clothes washed with other people's?

No — your clothes are always washed separately. We sort your bag by color (light, dark, napkins) and we make separate loads for each customer.

Can I change, skip a week, or cancel my subscription?

Yes — you can change your frequency, skip a week, or cancel anytime from the Subscription section of your profile. No commitment, no cancellation fees.

Can unused credits be carried forward?

Yes — unused credits roll over to the next month. The deferral is 1 month for Flex, 2 months for Plus, and unlimited for Max.

Rates & payments
What payment methods do you accept?

Credit card (VISA, Mastercard), debit card and cash. For online orders, a credit card is required — it is not charged until cleaning is complete.

When is the card charged for an online order?

Only upon delivery, once your clothes have been cleaned. If the final amount has changed (e.g. laundry weighing), you will be notified by text message before being invoiced.

Where can I see your rates?

All of our rates are shown on the service pages — no surprise. For dry cleaning, prices are per item. For laundry, it's $2.95/lb with a minimum of $35.

Guarantees & policies
What is your satisfaction policy?

If you are not satisfied, we will start again for free. You have 5 days after delivery to report a problem to us — we identify the cause and correct it, without discussion.

What happens in case of loss or damage?

If the error is caused by our process, we do everything we can to restore the item. If it is deemed irreparable, you are offered a credit of 100% of its value or a refund of 50% of its retail value. The limits are $250 for laundry ($500 max item) and $500 for dry cleaning (max $1,000 item).

How long does the warranty on alterations and repairs last?

30 days. If a repair fails within this period, it is redone free of charge — unconditionally.

How long do you keep uncollected clothing?

One year. After this time, and without news from you, we give them to community organizations.

Where are your counters located?

We have 4 counters in Montreal — Plateau (5111 Saint-Hubert Street), Rosemont (1398 Beaubien Street East), Villeray (342 rue De Castelnau Est) and Downtown (1 Place Ville-Marie, room 11090). No appointment required.

What are your business hours?

Plateau: Mon—Fri 8am—6pm · Sat—Sun 10am—4pm.
Rosemont & Villeray: Mon—Fri 8am—6pm · Sat 10am—4pm · Sun closed.
Downtown: Mon—Fri 8am—6pm · Sat—Sun closed.

Do you do the cleaning on site?

Yes — unlike most cleaners in Montreal, we do all the cleaning in our workshops. No subcontracting, no intermediaries. It gives us more control over quality and deadlines.
